Swim Team Coaches
Greg, a Denver native, is returning as our Head Coach at Eastmoor. His swimming experience is vast and includes summer club, USA Swimming, High School, and NCAA D-1. Greg excelled in the sprints, becoming a three-time Colorado High School State Champion in the 50- and 100-yard Freestyle, achieving All-American status, and finishing top-8 at Junior Nationals. He swam at The Ohio State University his freshman year before transferring back home to complete his career at The University of Denver where he was conference champion in the 100 Fly. After completing his bachelor’s degree, Greg worked in commercial real estate and medical sales for many years before accepting an assistant coach position at Arapahoe for the 2022-23 season, where he impacted the varsity sprint and stroke groups as well as conducting the team's strength and conditioning program. Outside of swimming, he enjoys working out, reading, and learning piano.
Mattie has had a long career in coaching. He has coached High School lacrosse, USA Swimming, and most recently has run the swim program for the YMCA including swim team, lessons, and lifeguards. Mattie swam at the University of Iowa and has passion for teaching children how to swim. He will also be teaching swim lessons.
Mattie will be working with our 9-10/8 & Under swimmers.
Hope is back for another year of coaching at Eastmoor! Hope graduated from Arapahoe High School where she swam on their varsity swim team for 4 years. Hope grew up swimming at Eastmoor and earned her Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024. She's loves all freestyle events.
Hope attends the University of Arizona. She will be the 8 & Under coach and will help support the 9-10s.
Brynn is excited to be coaching again this summer at Eastmoor! Brynn graduated from Arapahoe High School where she swam on their varsity swim team for 4 years. Brynn grew up swimming at Eastmoor and earned her Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024. Brynn is a breaststroker, and also loves the IM and butterfly.
Brynn attends TCU and is double majoring in Criminology and Psychology. She will be the 9-10 coach and will help support the 11-12s.
Annie is excited to be returning for her 3rd year of coaching and her 12th year of swimming for Eastmoor! She will be entering her senior year at Denver South High School and has been a varsity swimmer for the past 3 years. Annie is also a lifeguard at Eastmoor.
Annie loves all events but her favorite races are the 50 and 400 FREE!
John will be returning for his 3rd year of coaching this summer and his 11th year swimming for Eastmoor. He will be entering his senior year at Arapahoe High School and is a varsity swimmer. John is also a lifeguard at Eastmoor.
His favorite race is the 50 FREE!
Sally is returning for her 2nd year of coaching and her 8th year of swimming for Eastmoor! She is a graduating senior from Thomas Jefferson High School and was a varsity swimmer for all 4 years and dive team for 2 years. Sally is also a lifeguard at the Denver Country Club.
She will be attending the University of Kansas in the fall of 2026.
Her favorite races are the 50 and 100 FREE!
Henry is in his 7th season with Eastmoor. Throughout the year, he also competes for Aquawolves and is a varsity swimmer at Cherry Creek High School. His favorite events are the 100 fly, 200 free, and 500 freestyle.
